The new cars confirmed for the UAE and GCC in 2027 are the Audi Q9, the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 (both summer 2027), and the all-new Mitsubishi Pajero (Middle East rollout from Mitsubishi's fiscal 2027, which begins in April 2027). The Range Rover Electric and Range Rover Sport Electric are open for UAE pre-orders, with deliveries expected in 2027. The BMW iX5, BMW iX4, Bentley Torcal, Jaguar Type 01 and 11 other models have 2027 milestones announced or reported abroad, but no confirmed UAE date yet.
Buying a car now becomes a harder decision when a new generation is only months away. For UAE buyers considering a large family SUV, a pickup, a premium saloon or an electric car, the 2027 launch calendar offers several reasons to pause before signing.
This guide covers 21 models from 16 brands, sorted by how certain their UAE arrival is. It also lists new models already on sale here, so you don't wait for a car you could buy today, and the cars that have been delayed or cancelled.
The distinction matters. A global reveal, the start of factory production and the first delivery in Dubai are different milestones. Each model below is labelled by how certain its UAE arrival is:
Confirmed for the UAE or GCC: the brand or its official regional arm has published 2027 timing for this region.
UAE pre-orders open: you can reserve locally, but no UAE delivery date or price has been published.
Global launch, UAE unconfirmed: a firm 2027 milestone elsewhere, with no regional announcement yet.
The information below reflects announcements available on 13 October 2026. Prices quoted from other markets are references only, not UAE prices.
Which cars are launching in the UAE in 2027?
Twenty-one models from 16 brands have 2027 milestones announced or reported. Four are confirmed for the UAE or wider Middle East, two are open for UAE pre-orders, and the rest are global launches whose UAE timing is still unconfirmed.

Which 2027 launches are confirmed for the UAE and GCC?
Four new models have 2027 timing published by the brand for this region: the Audi Q9, the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500, and the all-new Mitsubishi Pajero. Range Rover's first two electric SUVs are also taking UAE pre-orders.
Audi Q9: when does it arrive in the UAE?

Timing: "Coming 2027", month not stated · UAE status: confirmed for 2027 by Audi Middle East · UAE price: not announced
The Audi Q9 is Audi's first full-size SUV and new flagship, revealed globally on 29 July 2026. Audi Middle East's model page lists it as "Coming 2027" with six or seven seats, a V6 engine with up to 320 kW, 0–100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and up to 2,308 litres of luggage space in the seven-seater. Five-zone climate control reaches the third row, and adaptive air suspension is standard.
For a UAE family, the useful question is how well that extra seating works with everyday luggage. A seven-seat layout on paper does not tell you whether adults fit in the third row, or whether the boot takes a pushchair with every seat in use. The six-seat version, with two second-row seats, may suit some households, but losing a seat matters when relatives visit.
When UAE demonstrators arrive, make the test drive reflect your normal routine:
Check third-row access with your child seats fitted.
Test rear cooling after the car has stood outdoors.
Measure boot space with all seats in use.
Try your usual parking bay before choosing the car.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500: what is confirmed for the Middle East?

Timing: summer 2027 · UAE status: confirmed by Chevrolet Arabia · UAE price: not announced
Chevrolet Arabia states the next-generation Silverado "will arrive in the Middle East in Summer of 2027". It is powered by all-new sixth-generation 5.7-litre and 6.6-litre V8s. The regional line-up includes the ZR2, Trail Boss, Z71 and a work-focused Silverado Sport.
Inside, a 16.3-inch centre screen is joined by an available 11.5-inch passenger screen, and models with bucket seats get a centre console with a built-in fridge. Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance will be offered on the ZR2 only at launch. Confirm which UAE roads and conditions it supports before paying for it.
Chevrolet says pricing and GCC order timing will be shared closer to launch, so registering interest now is an enquiry, not a guaranteed order. A pickup shortlist should cover:
Towing capacity, payload and fitted towing equipment.
Overall height against your building's car park.
Which off-road accessories keep warranty cover.
Tyre prices for the exact wheel specification.
GMC Sierra 1500: does it arrive alongside the Silverado?

Timing: summer 2027 · UAE status: confirmed by GMC Arabia · UAE price: not announced
Yes. GMC Arabia lists the redesigned 2027 Sierra 1500 as "Available Summer 2027" in the region, with two new sixth-generation V8 options. GM Africa and Middle East announced four GCC trims: Elevation, AT4, AT4X and Denali. The US Pro and Denali Ultimate are not offered here at launch.
The AT4X gets 35-inch mud-terrain tyres and Multimatic dampers, and there is an 11.5-inch front passenger touchscreen. DriveArabia reports that Super Cruise will initially be offered on the Denali and AT4X. If you are choosing between the two GM trucks, the Sierra leans premium and the Silverado covers more of the work-truck end.
Mitsubishi Pajero: when does the new Pajero come to the UAE?

Timing: Middle East rollout from Mitsubishi's fiscal 2027 (April 2027 to March 2028) · UAE status: Middle East confirmed by Mitsubishi; UAE date not announced · UAE price: not announced
The Pajero returns after a five-year absence. Mitsubishi revealed the all-new Pajero on 2 September 2026: a ladder-frame SUV with three rows and seven seats, a 2.4-litre diesel with 480 Nm, a new eight-speed automatic and Super Select 4WD-II with S-AWC. It has seven drive modes, including Sand and Rock, and is built in Thailand.
Mitsubishi launches it in Thailand, Japan and Australia first. "From fiscal 2027 onward" it rolls out to about 100 countries, including the Middle East. The National reports it is expected back in UAE showrooms through Al Habtoor Motors, Mitsubishi's exclusive distributor. GCC engine choices and specifications have not been announced, so do not assume the diesel will be offered here.
Range Rover Electric and Range Rover Sport Electric: can you order one in the UAE?

Timing: first deliveries in 2027 · UAE status: UAE pre-orders open; no UAE delivery date · UAE price: not announced
Yes. Range Rover's UAE website takes pre-orders for both the Range Rover Electric and the Range Rover Sport Electric, with showrooms listed from Abu Dhabi to Ras Al Khaimah. The site names Al Tayer Motors as the UAE importer. Neither page shows a dirham price or delivery date.
JLR opened Range Rover Electric orders on 2 September 2026 and Sport Electric orders on 30 September. Autocar reports the Range Rover Electric is due next year, and GQ Middle East notes Gulf pricing has not been announced.
Model | Power | Torque | WLTP range (UAE site) | UK price in AED (approx.) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Range Rover Electric | 550 PS | 850 Nm | 600 km | About AED 748,000 |
Range Rover Sport Electric | 550 PS | 850 Nm | 609 km | About AED 533,000 |
Both use 800-volt technology and charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 22 minutes on a 350 kW charger. Range Rover's UAE site quotes about 535 km of real-world range, and an eight-year or 160,000 km battery warranty on the Sport Electric. The Range Rover Electric can also tow up to 2,500 kg.
A pre-order is a reservation, not a delivery slot. Ask whether the deposit is refundable and when UAE pricing will be confirmed before you pay.
Which new family SUVs are launching in 2027?
BMW's new X5 and first electric iX5, the all-new Hyundai Tucson, the Lexus TZ and the Genesis GV90 all have firm 2027 milestones in other markets. None has a confirmed UAE date yet, so treat them as strong candidates rather than booked arrivals.
BMW X5 and iX5: when do the new versions arrive?

Timing: first petrol versions from late November 2026; plug-in hybrid X5 50e and electric iX5 in early 2027; V8 M Performance model later in 2027 · UAE status: announced on BMW's Middle East press site; no UAE date · UAE price: not announced
The all-new BMW X5 premiered on 30 June 2026. BMW's Middle East press kit says the first versions launch in late November 2026, "with the all-electric and plug-in hybrid versions to follow in early 2027." The iX5 60 xDrive is the first fully electric X5, with up to 845 km of WLTP range.
In the US, prices start at the equivalent of about AED 256,000 for the X5 40, AED 285,000 for the X5 50e and AED 293,000 for the iX5 60, before destination charges. Those are overseas references only. For current X5 owners, the new generation offers petrol, plug-in hybrid and fully electric versions of the same SUV.
Hyundai Tucson: when does the new generation arrive?

Timing: world premiere 1 October 2026; North America, Europe and other markets in 2027 · UAE status: global launch, UAE unconfirmed · UAE price: not announced
The all-new Tucson premiered in New York and launches in Korea first, with "North America, Europe and other global markets to follow in 2027." It offers a 1.6-litre turbo petrol with an eight-speed automatic, a new-generation hybrid and, in Europe, a plug-in hybrid with an estimated 81 km of electric range. A tougher XRT PRO version debuted alongside it.
Hyundai has not announced Middle East timing or which of these powertrains will be offered in the GCC.
Lexus TZ: what is the first three-row Lexus EV?

Timing: US sales from late 2026; Europe in 2027 · UAE status: global launch, UAE unconfirmed · UAE price: not announced
The Lexus TZ is a six-seat electric SUV with all-wheel drive and a choice of 76.96 kWh or 95.82 kWh batteries. In the US it costs the equivalent of about AED 235,000 to AED 296,000, including delivery. That is an overseas reference, not a UAE price.
For families who like the Lexus ownership experience but want an EV with a third row, the TZ is the one to watch.
Genesis GV90: when does the flagship EV arrive?

Timing: US arrival early 2027; Europe in the first half of 2027 · UAE status: global launch, UAE unconfirmed · UAE price: not announced
Genesis revealed the production GV90 on 19 August 2026. It produces 657 hp (490 kW) from a 123.5 kWh battery and charges from 10 to 80 percent in 22 minutes on a 350 kW charger. A Neolun version adds rear-hinged coach doors. In the US it is sold as the 2028 GV90, "arriving early 2027".
What is BMW launching in 2027?
BMW has three 2027 launches for buyers to track: the new petrol 3 Series, the i3 M60 xDrive electric saloon and the all-new iX4 electric SUV coupé. None has a UAE delivery date or price yet. (The new X5 and first electric iX5 are covered under family SUVs above.)
BMW 3 Series (petrol): when does it arrive?

Timing: revealed 30 September 2026; UK petrol deliveries from January 2027 · UAE status: global launch, UAE unconfirmed · UAE price: not announced
The new 3 Series (codename G50) is built at Dingolfing from November 2026, and BMW UK says petrol models arrive in January 2027. The 320 makes 155 kW (211 hp) and 330 Nm with rear-wheel drive. The M350 xDrive uses a 3.0-litre six-cylinder with 48-volt mild-hybrid assistance, producing 326 kW (443 hp), 580 Nm and 0–100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. A plug-in hybrid is due later.
A mild hybrid uses electrical assistance alongside its petrol engine; it is not an EV or a plug-in hybrid. For someone driving between Dubai and Abu Dhabi without dependable home charging, that keeps refuelling simple. Wait for the UAE range before assuming British engines, equipment or trim names will match the local showroom.
Budget for more than the sticker price: ride comfort on your daily route, insurance for the exact variant and replacement tyre costs all belong in the decision from the start.
BMW i3 M60 xDrive: what does 2027 add?

Timing: due in 2027 · UAE status: global launch, UAE unconfirmed · UAE price: not announced
The new i3 is BMW's electric 3 Series saloon on the Neue Klasse architecture, not a successor to the old i3 hatchback. It was revealed on 18 March 2026, and the i3 50 xDrive and i3 40 xDrive began reaching customers from autumn 2026. The specifically announced 2027 addition is the high-performance i3 M60 xDrive.
For reference, the i3 50 xDrive makes 345 kW (469 hp) and 645 Nm, with up to 900 km of WLTP range and DC charging at up to 400 kW. Those figures should not be transferred to the M60, whose final specification has not been published.
The ownership decision starts with charging access. A buyer with an assigned charging space faces a very different routine from someone relying entirely on public stations.
BMW iX4: when is the launch, and which versions come first?

Timing: launch in March 2027 with the 40 xDrive and 50 xDrive; the M60 xDrive follows shortly afterwards · UAE status: published on BMW's Middle East press site, but no UAE date · UAE price: not announced
BMW revealed the iX4 on 8 October 2026. BMW UK says M60 orders open in January 2027, ahead of spring deliveries.
Variant | Power | Torque | 0–100 km/h | WLTP range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
iX4 40 xDrive | 275 kW (374 hp) | 520 Nm | 5.6 s | 638 km |
iX4 50 xDrive | 345 kW (469 hp) | 645 Nm | 4.9 s | 828 km |
iX4 M60 xDrive | 450 kW (612 hp) | 875 Nm | 3.9 s | 777 km |
German-market figures published by BMW.
Peak DC charging is 400 kW on the 50 xDrive and 300 kW on the 40 xDrive. That is a vehicle capability under ideal conditions; battery temperature, charge level and the charger itself all affect the real result. On UAE routes, a reliable charger near home or along a regular inter-emirate drive matters more than the brochure peak.
The sloping roofline also makes a showroom visit worthwhile: sit in the rear seats, check visibility and try the luggage you normally carry.
Which luxury and performance cars arrive in 2027?
Bentley's first EV, Ferrari's Amalfi Spider and two new Lamborghinis all have first deliveries scheduled for 2027, and Jaguar opens Type 01 orders early in the year. None has an official UAE price yet.
Bentley Torcal: when does Bentley's first EV arrive?

Timing: first deliveries expected in summer 2027 · UAE status: Middle East named among first markets; no UAE date · UAE price: not announced
Bentley revealed the Torcal in London on 23 September 2026 as its first fully electric car. The standard model makes 821 PS and 1,194 Nm; the Torcal S raises that to 888 PS. A 113 kWh battery on 800-volt technology gives up to 600 km of WLTP range, and Bentley quotes about 160 km (100 miles) of charge in seven minutes.
Top Gear reports UK prices equivalent to about AED 841,000 (AED 967,000 for the Torcal S) and first deliveries in summer 2027. GQ Middle East reports that Bentley counts the Middle East among the Torcal's first markets.
Ferrari Amalfi Spider: when do deliveries start?

Timing: distribution begins in 2027 · UAE status: global launch, UAE unconfirmed · UAE price: not announced
Ferrari's own first-quarter 2026 results confirm the Amalfi Spider "will commence distribution in 2027." It uses a 640 hp, 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 with 760 Nm, and its fabric roof opens in 13.5 seconds at up to 60 km/h.
Ferrari Luce: is Ferrari's first EV a 2027 car?

Timing: revealed May 2026; Middle East private previews from October 2026 · UAE status: previews under way; UAE deliveries and price not announced
The Luce produces 1,050 cv, reaches 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and has a range above 530 km. Ferrari Middle East planned private previews in the region from the start of October. Ferrari says its company-wide order book already covers all of 2027, so ask about allocation before assuming any new Ferrari order will arrive next year.
Lamborghini Urus SE Performante and Revuelto SV: what arrives in 2027?

Timing: first deliveries in 2027 for both · UAE status: global launches, UAE timing unconfirmed · UAE price: not announced
The Urus SE Performante, revealed on 1 July 2026, is a plug-in hybrid V8 with 597 kW (812 CV), 1,000 Nm and more than 60 km of electric range. Lamborghini South Africa says first customer deliveries are scheduled for 2027.
The Revuelto SV debuted at Monterey Car Week on 14 August 2026. Its V12 hybrid makes 783 kW (1,065 CV), reaches 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, and production is limited to 1,963 cars, with deliveries from 2027.
Jaguar Type 01: when can you order one?

Timing: orders open early 2027; first deliveries in the second half of 2027 · UAE status: global launch, UAE unconfirmed · UAE price: not announced
Jaguar unveiled the Type 01 in New York on 6 October 2026 as a four-door electric grand tourer. JLR says "orders are expected to open in early 2027", with first deliveries in the second half of the year. Jaguar quotes up to 1,030 PS, 0–100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and up to 720 km of WLTP range from a 118 kWh battery.
The US starting price is equivalent to about AED 479,000, and the UK price to about AED 631,000. Converting an overseas price does not create a UAE price or account for local specification.
When regional details arrive, check the grand-touring basics: seat comfort, luggage space, charging support on GCC road trips and the service arrangements offered with the car.
Which 2027 launches have no UAE plan yet?
These cars have 2027 milestones elsewhere but no announced UAE sales. Treat them as names to watch, not cars to plan around.
Lucid Cosmos: built in Saudi Arabia, but not yet confirmed for the UAE

Timing: production at Lucid's Saudi AMP-2 factory expected in the second half of 2027 · UAE status: no UAE sales announcement · UAE price: not announced
The Cosmos is the first SUV on Lucid's new Midsize platform, alongside a second model called the Lucid Earth. On Lucid's August 2026 earnings call, CEO Silvio Napoli said Saudi production would start "most likely" in the second half of 2027.
That gives the Cosmos a direct Gulf manufacturing link, but production timing does not confirm UAE sales. Lucid says the Midsize platform will start below the equivalent of about AED 184,000, without naming a market. Local pricing, specification and first deliveries remain unconfirmed.
Mercedes-Benz "Little G": is a smaller G-Class coming in 2027?

Timing: production reported to start in 2027 · UAE status: global launch, UAE unconfirmed · UAE price: not announced
Autocar reports that a compact G-Class will enter production in 2027, with an electric version first and a hybrid to follow. Mercedes-Benz has confirmed a smaller G-Class is coming but has not published a date, name or specification.
Toyota GR GT: a V8 hybrid flagship due "around 2027"

Timing: launch "around 2027" · UAE status: global launch, UAE unconfirmed · UAE price: not announced
Toyota Gazoo Racing showed the GR GT as a development prototype in December 2025. It pairs a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor, targeting at least 650 PS and 850 Nm. Toyota has not published markets or prices.

Timing: first sales outside China planned for 2027, starting in Germany · UAE status: no Middle East plan announced
Xiaomi's first market outside China will be Europe in 2027. Xiaomi has not announced official UAE sales, so a 2027 showroom launch here should not be assumed.

Which cars have been delayed or cancelled?
Some models once expected around 2027 will not arrive next year. If you have been holding out for one of these, it is time to look elsewhere.
Model | What changed | Source |
|---|---|---|
Lamborghini Lanzador | Electric version dropped; now planned as a plug-in hybrid, reportedly around the end of the decade | |
Honda 0 Series saloon and SUV | Cancelled in March 2026, months before production | |
Nissan Patrol hybrid | Nissan says current hybrid technology, including e-Power, does not suit the Patrol | |
Rolls-Royce Project Nightingale | 100-car electric roadster; deliveries begin from 2028 | |
Polestar 7 | Compact SUV planned for launch in 2028 |
Should you wait until 2027 to buy a new car in the UAE?
Waiting makes sense when a confirmed launch solves a specific problem with the cars on sale today. The Q9 deserves attention if third-row usability matters. The Silverado and Sierra are relevant if you are already planning a pickup, and the Pajero if you want a ladder-frame seven-seater with proper four-wheel drive.
Waiting is harder to justify when your preferred model has no confirmed UAE schedule. Repairs, rental costs and the disruption of keeping an unreliable car can outweigh the benefit of postponing. Also check the "already in showrooms" list above: several new-generation cars are on sale now.
What should you check before reserving a new EV?
For the electric models on this list, start with your parking arrangement. Ask building management whether charging can be installed in your assigned bay, and get an installation assessment from a qualified contractor before committing.
Advertised range also needs context. Weather, climate control, tyres, driving style and battery condition all affect real-world results, and a UAE summer works the air conditioning hard. A published test-cycle figure is not your guaranteed August motorway range.
Build the charging plan around normal use:
Check charger locations on your regular inter-emirate routes.
Identify a backup station near each planned stop.
Compare charging estimates for the exact variant you intend to buy.
What should you get in writing before paying a deposit?
A launch announcement rarely answers every after-sales question. Before paying a deposit, ask for a written quotation covering the vehicle, service plan, warranty and expected delivery arrangements.
For an EV, request the battery warranty separately and check any capacity-retention conditions. For every model, get an insurance quotation for the actual variant, including your preferred repair arrangement.
The reservation paperwork should answer a few straightforward questions:
Is the deposit refundable, and under what conditions?
Which model year, trim and options are being reserved?
What happens if the price or delivery date changes?
Who provides warranty work and roadside support in the UAE?
Frequently asked questions
What new cars are launching in the UAE in 2027?
The confirmed 2027 arrivals for the UAE and GCC are the Audi Q9, the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500, and the all-new Mitsubishi Pajero. The Range Rover Electric and Range Rover Sport Electric are open for UAE pre-orders. Other 2027 launches, such as the BMW iX5 and Bentley Torcal, have no confirmed UAE date yet.
When will the new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra arrive in the UAE?
Both arrive in summer 2027. Chevrolet Arabia says the next-generation Silverado 1500 "will arrive in the Middle East in Summer of 2027", and GMC Arabia lists the new Sierra 1500 as available in summer 2027. Both use new 5.7-litre and 6.6-litre V8 engines. UAE prices have not been announced.
When is the Audi Q9 coming to the UAE?
Audi Middle East lists the Q9 as "Coming 2027" without a month. It offers six or seven seats, a V6 engine with up to 320 kW and up to 2,308 litres of luggage space. Audi has not announced UAE pricing.
Is the new Mitsubishi Pajero coming to the UAE?
Yes, the Middle East is part of the rollout. Mitsubishi says the all-new Pajero reaches about 100 countries, including the Middle East, from fiscal 2027 (April 2027 to March 2028). It is expected through Al Habtoor Motors. UAE timing, specification and prices have not been announced.
Can I order an electric Range Rover in the UAE?
Yes. Range Rover's UAE website takes pre-orders for the Range Rover Electric and Range Rover Sport Electric, with first deliveries expected in 2027. UAE prices and delivery dates have not been published. Their UK prices are equivalent to about AED 748,000 and AED 533,000.
Which electric cars are launching in 2027?
Notable 2027 electric launches include the BMW iX5, iX4 and i3 M60 xDrive, the Bentley Torcal, Jaguar Type 01, Lexus TZ, Genesis GV90, Lucid Cosmos and both electric Range Rovers. Of these, only the two Range Rovers can be reserved in the UAE today.
Have UAE prices been announced for the 2027 launches?
Not for any model on this list. Prices converted from the UK, US or Europe are references only. Chevrolet, for example, says regional pricing will follow closer to launch, so ask for a written quotation before paying any deposit.
Is the Lamborghini Lanzador coming in 2027?
No. Lamborghini dropped the electric Lanzador in February 2026. It is now planned as a plug-in hybrid, reportedly around the end of the decade.
Should I wait until 2027 to buy a new car?
Wait only if a confirmed UAE launch solves a specific need, such as the Q9's third row or a new pickup. If your preferred model has no UAE date, buying now is usually the safer choice. Several new models, including the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ and new Lexus ES, are already on sale.
The bottom line: wait for the car that fits your UAE driving life
The 2027 shortlist starts with the Audi Q9, the Silverado and Sierra pickups and the new Pajero, where regional plans are published. The two electric Range Rovers are the only 2027 EVs you can reserve locally today. BMW, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Lexus and Genesis add strong reasons to watch, with less certainty about UAE timing.
Choose a launch because it improves the way you will use the car. For Gulf ownership, that means suitable seating, dependable cooling, workable charging or refuelling, and clear service support. A newer badge on the registration card is a much weaker reason to delay a purchase.
Khaleej Cars will update this guide as UAE prices and delivery dates are announced.
